Mission Statement
- To plan, coordinate, and assess functions which foster the development of a comprehensive and coordinated service delivery system for older persons age 60+ residing in Bond County.
- To help secure and maintain independence and dignity in a home environment for older persons capable of self-care with the appropriate supportive services aimed at the prevention of unnecessary institutionalization.
- To provide supportive services to older, disabled, and disadvantaged individuals as appropriate.
- To remove individual and social barriers to economic and personal independence for older persons, including opportunities for employment, when available, and volunteer activities in Bond County.
- To make existing social services more accessible to older persons in need through development and support of services which can increase the ability of older persons to obtain these social services.
- To help develop and support social services needed by older persons but which are not otherwise available.
- To serve as an agency aiding in senior citizens advocacy.
